Did not stay here but met the guy who owns it and he is very nice
This place was suggested by our shuttle bus driver. We prefer the "Mom and pop" places over chains, wherever we go. Loved this place. Left to go to Key West and came back for a couple more days. Room is nice size and clean. No pool, but not really needed with the beautiful ocean right there, steps away from the room. Owner is very pleasant. Will return.
Room was exactly what we were looking for. Owner was very nice. Small motel with only 9 units and Very clean. The bed was a bit hard but that was minor. Location is great. Waterfront was awesome. Had coffee out there every morning. Nice to be away with not a lot of people around. Would definately stay there again if we get down that way.
We randomly pulled into popps looking for a place to stay a few days. I feel like we got really lucky! It’s was just us and two other people staying there. The people working there are very nice. It felt like it was our own little place. We went to the store got pizza and beer and swam and found sea shells all day then watched the most Beautiful sunset we’ve ever seen alone both nights!!! We will be staying there every time we visit the keys from now on! You can feed fish off the dock and one time a huge stingray swam in!!! Love love love this place!!!!!
We just loved the little place, it was private and very very peaceful ! A real nice spot to get away from it all. Very friendly staff we will definitely get back down there again.. If you've never been to Key Largo it makes Panama City seem like the Ghetto lol (No offense) !!
We love Popp’s! Just wrapping up our second trip and we still appreciate it for what it is. Be prepared, because it is not a massive commercialized resort, but instead a quaint old school place right on the water. Very clean rooms and staff is very friendly. Kid appropriate! We have a 5 and 7 year old and we feel comfortable with them around the property. Super safe. This a great place.
We loved the location and how close our room was to the beach! We literally had the beach to ourselves for the entire stay, it was amazing. Our room was nice and spacious. The shower, however, was terrible. It was smaller than a cruise ship shower. The place could use some upgrades, but the view and beach cannot be beat for the price!
